Because of its mountainous terrain, Corsica offers kayaking enthusiasts some of the most challenging gradients in all of Europe. The Fium Orbo river includes several cascading sections were kayaks become airborne as they cut through them. This river has a few drops that are 7-10 meters high which look great on video but should only be attempted by the most skilled and experienced paddlers.

If you live in the US, you can fly to London or another major European city and then take a flight on a discount airline such as Ryanair or EasyJet to your final destination. Be aware that you’ll probably have to catch a shuttle and change airports (well worth it if you can save $500 or more on airfare).
