About
Corsica is truly a mountain on the sea, in stark contrast with the island of Sardinia to the south and the smaller islands of Elba, Capraia, Pianosa and Monte Cristo that form the Tuscan archipelago.
With peaks measuring 2,710 meters (Monte Cinto), 2,367 meters (Monte Renoso) and 2,391 (Monte D’Oro), Corsica is the most mountainous island on the Mediterranean, offering a wealth of sports and activities to outdoor enthusiasts in a dramatic landscape.
I created this site to share information, photos and travel tips with other travelers who may be considering Corsica for their next destination. I hope you’ll find it useful.
I welcome your questions, feedback and suggestions. You can also email me at: liz [at] corsicajourneys [dot] com.
