I WWOOFed for a couple of years. Not in Corsica or even Europe, though I met quite a few fellow travelers who'd come through those areas. It requires a LOT of flexibility and good humor... and creates some of the richest memories imaginable. You meet other low-rung travelers seeing the world, eco-hippies, weekend hobbyfarmers, and a professor or two. I learned how to skin a snake and farm with rotten tofu castoffs! Good times.
